As the pandemic continues, it is essential that we learn the lessons so far and continue to champion the need for rehabilitation and physiotherapy. The CSP is calling for governments and healthcare providers to prioritise physiotherapy and rehabilitation services.
First Contact Physiotherapist in the East of England - event resources
More than 90 CSP members from the East of England came together at a virtual event on Tuesday 29 September to discuss First Contact Physiotherapy.
The audience, which was split between FCPs and non- FCPs, received an update from Helen Harte, CSP Professional Advisor, had the opportunity to ask questions which Larry Koyama, CSP Head of Implementation - FCP, answered.
The group split up into breakout rooms and discussed the challenges that the pandemic has created, how FCPs managed and anticipate that the evolving health and social care landscape will affect services going forwards.
The event finished with a pain CPD session from Dr Paul Rolfe at Nuffield Health.

CSP members from the East of England came together on Tuesday 12th May for a regional gathering with a difference. More than 70 members met via Zoom to trial a virtual discussion on managing COVID 19 in the East of England.
