Covid vaccine information webinar to take place on Monday

It aims to help CSP members better understand what the changes mean for them, and provides an opportunity to ask questions. 

The webinar will be chaired by Alex MacKenzie, CSP Council chair and will feature Rob Yeldham, CSP policy director and Jim Fahie, CSP assistant director (employment relations and union services).

Mr Fahie will explain the CSP’s policy on the introduction of mandatory vaccinations and how the CSP can support members.

They will be joined by Sara Conroy, CSP professional adviser who can answer questions related to practice and development, and Mary Ross-Davie, director of professional midwifery, the Royal College of Midwives who will be addressing vaccination and pregnancy.

The CSP has backed a new campaign from the Department of Health and the royal colleges to encourage pregnant women to get vaccinated.

When signing up to attend the webinar, members are invited to submit a question in advance (if received before 10am on 24 January), which the panel of speakers will endeavour to answer, either during their presentations or during the question and answer session at the end.
