The CSP is delighted to open nominations for this year's Student Contribution Awards.
2021 marks the fourth year of the contribution awards. They were introduced to recognise the positive impact students have made over the academic year, from supporting and involving fellow students at university to championing the physiotherapy profession and community on campus and beyond.
There are two award categories. The 'individual student award' rewards individual CSP student and associate student members. The 'student society award' recognizes the hard work of student physio society committees.
With two awards up for grabs, the CSP is encouraging members to submit nominations by 9am on Friday 17 September. All CSP members, university staff and physio students can nominate.
CSP student coordinator Izzy Hall said:
These awards recognise the outstanding achievements of students and societies across the UK. After a difficult year due to the pandemic, students and apprentices have continued to go above and beyond, whether it's supporting their peers or getting more involved in virtual events and opportunities. We look forward to showcasing the nominations and honouring this year's winners.
The winners will be selected by members of the Student Reference Group. The prizes for each category will include tickets to this year's virtual Physiotherapy UK conference in November plus an extra £50 to the winning society.
Read more about the awards and submit your nominations by 9am on Friday 17 September.
