Walking frame development  

Equipment provider NRS Healthcare’s walking frame, ‘Walk Safe’, based on a collaboration with the University of Salford and Innovate UK, improves stability and reduces fall risk, says the company, and ‘solves many problems with traditional front-wheeled walking frames or traditional Zimmer frames.’

Draft updated guidance from NICE on assessing and preventing falls in older people and people aged 50 and over at higher risk is out for consultation.
